One of the main points made clear by the New Testament writers is that in the Old Testament we can learn central lessons about faith. This series is meant to encourage and provide foundational knowledge for walking in faith with God by examining some central Old Testament characters.
The Epistle of James: Steadfastness in the Midst of Trials
James writes to suffering believers who need to be encouraged to stay steadfast (steady) in their faith. This book was probably one of the earliest writings we have in the New Testament, but it's still very practical 2,000 years later.
